Signorelli’s organic garden breaks ground today!

Today Signorelli’s organic garden at Metropolitan high school has officially started growing in the concrete jungle of downtown LA. These greens were well needed at a school where classroom windows look out to a distribution center where large semi trucks pull up every day. We aspire for this garden to bring green life and ego consciousness to our student friends at Metropolitan high school. Look for updates on the growth of these veggies and more Signorelli gardens coming soon!!! GO GREEN!

Signorelli has partnered with Computers 4 Africa to sponsor a 20 computer lab in Kenya! This computer lab will provide opportunities for children to learn and connect through computer technology and internet. Yes, they are getting internet too!! We hope that by providing these kids access to information they are inspired to grow and create a more positive future for themselves and their communities. YAY!

Computers 4 Africa’s long-term goal is improvement of African economies. As information technology progresses, developing nations like most of those in Africa are being left further and further behind. Our aim is to reverse that trend. By providing an education in information and communications technology to African children, African economies can advance into the information age and become self-sustaining.

Signorelli’s January 2012 collection features an amazing t-shirt with a rad bird on the front that reads ” eARTh”.  These amazing shirts give back to the Inspire the Arts Program.  I heart the arts and everyone should be able to experience the arts in school….that’s why we created the “Inspire the Arts” program.

The Signorelli Movement Foundation organizes the inspirational musical program, Music Class with the Stars.  We are currentely preparing our 2012 music class programs. These programs will buy keyboards for entire classrooms in Los Angeles inner city schools.  Standyby for photos and more information!

We love the organic garden initiative because it inspires inner city students to love and take care of the earth.  It makes science class a lot more interactive for these kids as well.  YAY!
